Beer Tasting Weekend – Dec 4th & 5th

I am pleased to announce the next in our series of Beer Tasting Weekends, to be held December 4th & 5th. Like all of our tasting events, this is no ordinary beer tasting dinner. This event spans two full days of good food and great beer, starring two great breweries, and two of my personal top five beers!

Dinner Friday night features Breckenridge Brewery out of Colorado. Pam Matousek from Breckenridge will be joining us to discuss their great lineup of brews. Friday’s dinner will include Lamb Meatballs in a Moroccan Spiced Tomato Sauce with Couscous, Grilled Vegetable Salad with Goat Cheese and Dried Cranberries, Hickory Smoked Brisket Sliders with Slaw, and Fried Dough tossed in Maple Sugar and Chocolate Sauce. Breckenridge will be complementing the dishes with Agave Wheat, Avalanche Ale, Vanilla Porter, Autumn Ale and Christmas Ale.

Saturday’s dinner will feature Thirsty Dog out of Akron Ohio. Thirsty Dog was with us for our very first beer tasting weekend back in 2013, and we’re thrilled to have them join us once again. Saturday’s menu will feature Maple Coated Smoked Chicken Wings, Citrus Guacamole with Shagbark Mills Corn Tortilla Chips, Shaved Blackened Prime Rib Grinder with Blue Cheese and Chocolate and Dried Cherry Cookie Bars – paired with Thirsty Dog’s Barktoberfest, Citra Dog, Old Leghumper and Cerberus.

As has become traditional in our beer tasting events, we will have an informal tasting Saturday at noon. Saturday’s lunch tasting will focus on some of our favorite Ohio beers from the Raven’s Roost menu.

Please join us December 4th & 5th for a weekend of great craft brews! Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner Friday and Saturday nights, and samplings of at least a dozen beers throughout the weekend. Click the “Reservation” button at the top of this page or call (740) 596-2606 to book your room now!

Please note that the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
