Little Dead Riding Hood – April 13th & 14th

With the beginning of the New Year, we find ourselves at the half way point in the 2017-2018 Murder Mystery season. Our agents have successfully wrapped up some great mysteries so far this season, dealing with zombies, Jedi, dinosaurs, vampires and super villains. The second half of the season promises to be just as exciting, as agents tackle Murder on Platform 9 ¾, Death in the Fire Swamp, Professor Plum’s Deadly Dare and The Scarlet Raven’s Revenge. That brings us to our final mystery of the 2017-2018 Murder Mystery season, in which the Ravenwood Detective Agency once again visits the world of dark fairy tales…

Once upon a time there was a young lady named Little Red Riding Hood, whose grandmother lived in a castle in the woods. Grandmother was quite lonely, and had difficulty getting to town, so each week Little Red would journey through the woods, bringing with her a basket of food and some cheer for her grandmother.

When Little Red failed to return home after one such trip, the locals grew worried. Reports of increased wolf activity in the nearby woods did little to allay their fears. Eventually the authorities were dispatched to the castle, where they found Little Red lying dead on the kitchen floor, and no sign of Grandmother anywhere.

The local huntsmen have been quick to blame the killing on a particular rogue wolf in the area, which they’ve nicknamed Big Bad. They cite the numerous wolf tracks found near the castle window as evidence. Others are less certain the wolf is to blame, pointing out that Little Red’s wounds appear to be more consistent with a kitchen knife than a wolf’s pointy teeth. And whatever happened to Grandmother?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling agents and woodsmen alike to investigate the death of Little Red Riding Hood, and settle these questions and more. Join us April 13th & 14th, for the next chapter in our dark fairy tales themed Murder Mystery Weekends!

Tickets for Little Dead Riding Hood are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And though this may be the final mystery in the 2017-2018 Murder Mystery season, stay tuned in the coming weeks for announcements of other great Ravenwood Castle events. And worry not, the Ravenwood Detective Agency will return later this year for the 2018-2019 Murder Mystery season!
