what's so special about the area around our accommodations?
Ravenwood Castle is located right in the heart of the
Hocking Hills Region and only a ten minute drive from
Hocking Hills State Park. Hocking Hills State Park offers
outdoor adventures including 25 miles of hiking trails,
naturalist programs year-around and plenty of sights to see.
 Once
such area is Old
Man's Cave - one of
six major hiking areas in the Hocking Hills State Park trail
system.
Old Man's Cave features
many waterfalls, cliff edges and distinctive bridges. The
winding trail is rugged in some areas and there are unique
rock formations at nearly every turn.
Length: Old Man's Cave is approximately 1 mile long and
takes about an hour to hike.
