Pet Policy
Ravenwood Castle accepts well-mannered
housebroken dogs in select accommodations for those pet owners who are
considerate of our policies and other guests.
Disclosure At Reservation:
Guests must call first to check availability of our
limited number of pet rooms.. Upon reservation, guests must
disclose that their pet will also be staying. We charge a nightly pet
fee of $25, which covers the additional time and effort needed to clean
our accommodations after a pet visit. The $25 fee applies for each dog,
and there is a limit of two dogs per room.
Room Availability: Due to
health and allergy concerns, not all guest rooms are available for
guests with pets.
Areas Pets are Allowed: Pets
are not permitted in our common areas – this includes our lobby, pub,
Great Room or Tea Room. Pets must be kept off the beds and furniture and
sleep on the floor or in their kennels (provided by guest). Owners
will take care of cleaning up wet or muddy dogs prior to returning to
their rooms. Ravenwood
Castle does not provide
travel kennels.
Common Areas: Pets must be
kept on a leash at all times when outside your room or on the grounds.
Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms unless crated.
Aggressive Behavior: Pets
must be under owner's control at all times. Pets will not disturb other
guests with barking, roaming without leash or aggressive behavior. We
reserve the right to ask guests to make alternative arrangements for
their pets at a local kennel or else vacate the inn should the
guidelines not be followed.
Doggy Bags: When enjoying
our grounds, guests must clean up after pets with their own bags. Please
dispose of the doggy bags in the designated receptacle at the rear of
the property at the parking lot. We appreciate your efforts to keep our
grounds free of pet debris.
Pet Responsibility Agreement: Guests bringing
pets understand and agree to guarantee and authorize credit card payment
for any excessive cleaning or damage which may be caused by their pet,
even if not discovered until after check-out.
