comfort of all our guests, we ask that you agree to the following simple
rules:
At Reservation:
Guests must call to check availability of our
limited number of pet rooms--online reservations are not an option.
When the reservation is made, guests must disclose that their pet will
also be visiting. We charge a nightly pet fee of $25, which covers the
additional time and effort needed to clean our accommodations after a
pet visit. This fee applies for each pet, and there is a limit of two
pets per room.
Room Availability:
Due to health and allergy concerns, not all guest rooms are available
for guests with pets. At the discretion of the innkeepers, certain
holidays, weekends, or special event periods may be restricted from
pets, so please check in advance for our availability.
Pet Responsibility Agreement:
Guests bringing pets understand and agree to guarantee and
authorize credit card payment for any excessive cleaning or damage which
may be caused by their pet, even if not discovered until after
check-out.
Health Guidelines:
Per Health Department guidelines, pets are not permitted in our
common areas, including the lobby, tavern, gift shop, Tea Room or Great
Hall. Further, inside your guest rooms we ask that your pets be kept off
the beds and furniture, and sleep on the floor or in their travel
kennels. We assume that owners will take care of cleaning up wet
or muddy dogs prior to returning to their guestroom, just as you would
in your own home.
Common Areas:
In consideration for other guests who may not be comfortable
around dogs, pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your
room or on the inn grounds. Pets may not be left unattended in guest
rooms unless crated (kennel to be provided by the owner). Daily
housekeeping will be interrupted if this guideline is not followed.
Aggressive Behavior:
Pets must be under owner's control at all times, and should not
disturb other guests with barking or aggressive behavior. We reserve the
right to ask guests to make alternative arrangements for their pets at a
local kennel, or else vacate the inn should the pet prove to be a
problem.
Doggy Bags:
When enjoying our grounds and hiking trails with your pets, we
ask that you clean up after your pet with the bags provided at our front
desk, and dispose of the doggy bags in the designated trash receptacle
off the main parking lot of the property. We appreciate your efforts to
keep our gardens, grounds, and parking areas clean and free of pet
debris.
