Castle sits atop the highest hill in scenic Vinton County's Swan township. Fifty acres of
forest and large rock formations surround the castle which reached by a half-mile private
road.

Norman in style, Ravenwood Castle's crenelated towers contain the guest rooms and suites,
all with elegant private baths which include garden or whirlpool tubs. Most rooms or
suites offer a private balcony or deck and all have a gas fireplace with antique mantle.
All have antique stained glass windows and/or lamps. Each has king, queen or two double
beds and good reading lamps.
Great Hall with a roaring stone fireplace at one end sets the stage for overnight visits
and special occasions. At the other end are three large stained glass windows from an old
church. Beautiful, heavily carved tables and chairs furnish the Great Hall with a Gothic
flair. After dinner (available at an extra charge), you can play games in the
terrace-level game room, watch a vintage video or read in the library.
 n the morning, a full breakfast is served the Great Hall or in nice
weather may be taken to the dining deck or lower level terrace. Lunch is also available.

Castle's entire first floor, including four sleeping rooms, has no stairs to climb. There
are no steps into the building; instead, a "drawbridge" leads to the front door.
