The Scarlet Raven’s Revenge – March 16th & 17th

As the end of the year fast approaches, we find ourselves in the final stretch of the 2017-2018 Murder Mystery season! After last week’s announcement of Professor Plum’s Deadly Dare, we are down to only two – yes TWO – mystery announcements for the season! So without further ado, I present the penultimate mystery in the 2017-2018 season, a sequel to one of this year’s most anticipated themes…

The super-top-secret annual meeting of super heroes is typically more of a fun get together than anything else. But not this year. This year, there is only one topic on every hero’s mind – the world’s newest supervillain. Previously unknown in hero circles, The Scarlet Raven burst onto the scene in spectacular fashion, with a doomsday device intended to ruin the Super Hero New Year’s Eve party. The Scarlet Raven’s hopes of killing every hero in attendance were dashed when the doomsday device was disarmed at the last possible moment – though not without casualties.

So the heroes have gathered to discuss this new threat, and plan their next steps. But it seems the villains may have plans of their own, as the very first breakfast of the gathering is disrupted by a piercing scream from the kitchen. Rushing to investigate, our heroes find one of the castle staff, dead on the floor, clutching a wrinkled note which reads:

Foil me once, shame on you.
Foil me twice, well that you can’t do!
My revenge is near, you might say it’s nigh,
For sooner than you think, the heroes will die!

– The Scarlet Raven

Has The Scarlet Raven returned so soon? What exactly does he have planned this time? And what’s with the horrible nursery rhymes?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents and heroes to investigate these questions and more. Tune in March 16th & 17th, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel, for the next chapter in our Super Hero themed Murder Mystery Weekends!

Tickets for The Scarlet Raven’s Revenge are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned in the coming weeks for the final announcement of the 2017-2018 Murder Mystery season!

If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
