Shakespeare in the Woods

We’re thrilled to announce the second in our summer series of events, Shakespeare in the Woods!

Join us at the Pavilion in the Woods the afternoon of June 28th, for a performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Pyramus and Thisbe’. This play within a play is set in Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, and entertains the theme of forbidden love – with some strange twists and turns.

The play will be performed by our favorite acting troupe, Rough Magic. The Rough Magic players have put on a number of wonderful events at Ravenwood, including Alice in Ravenland, an Evening with Edgar Allan Poe, and the upcoming Midsummer Festival. Shakespeare in the Woods promises to be another entertaining show!

The show will start at approximately 4:00, and is open to guests and the public alike.

Tickets are $15 per person (children under age 6 free). Book your tickets online while reserving a room, or call us at (740) 596-2606 to purchase tickets without a room.
