Ravenwood Castle is partnering with L&L Training Solutions of Columbus to provide unique corporate team building and training events. We offer a variety of standard or custom training workshops. Our most popular offering is the new Murder Mystery Training.
We conduct a training session for you in the morning, covering your choice of various “soft skills”, ranging from emotional intelligence, effective communication, working with difficult people and managing conflict. Then we custom design a half day murder mystery for the afternoon that requires participants to use the information presented in the morning training session.
Past participants have told us they leave the day with a “brain cramp”, but that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Better yet, they not only learned a lot but were able to apply what they learned.

Working With People You Can't Stand

This fun, fast paced workshop will help you to understand why people behave the way they do and will provide you with specific, practical steps you can take to deal with each of the problem behaviors.

I'm Not Crazy, I'm Just Not You
Why is it that we find it easy to communicate with some people and difficult to communicate with others? Why is it that we seem to be “on the same wavelength” with some people and from a different planet than others? Why is it that another person can consider the same information we have and reach a totally different conclusion?
The fact is we are different in basic ways. We have natural preferences which influence how we think, how we communicate, how we act and how we interact with others. This workshop takes a look at communication styles to help us understand these natural preferences and to recognize how they affect us in our professional and our personal lives. We can use this knowledge to understand our own strengths and weaknesses, enhance teamwork, reduce misunderstandings and conflict, and to work more effectively with others.
