What is Hoop & Stick Con?
We’re glad you asked! Hoop & Stick Con is a weekend of board games, role playing games and general gaming goodness! In a castle!!
The twelfth annual Hoop & Stick Con will be held February 22nd through February 25th, 2024. Tickets for Hoop & Stick Con 2024 are $75, and include Saturday night’s dinner, access to all gaming sessions, and a $50 donation to Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network!
In 2023 we also added an online auction component, Hoop & Stick Con Online!
HOOP & STICK CON!
There are plenty of scheduled events at the on site Hoop & Stick Con, but the core of the convention is Open Gaming. Our ever growing library of over 200 games is available for use, and guests often bring along some games of theirs as well.
Hoop & Stick Con features a variety of role playing games. We have scheduled sessions of games such as Pathfinder and Starfinder, Dungeons & Dragons and several other systems. A complete schedule will be provided at check in.
In addition to the gaming goodness, Hoop & Stick Con offers a variety of other great activities. Informal beer tastings, gatherings of friends, and a silent auction benefiting children’s hospitals are just examples of the fun to be had!

In an effort to increase our reach and raise additional funds for children’s hospitals, we have launched Hoop & Stick Con Online. The auction features a variety of experiences throughout Ohio as well as some unique items.

This Is All For Children’s Hospitals?!
That’s right! This amazing event isn’t just about gaming. Well ok, it IS about gaming… but gaming for a cause!
At the core of Hoop & Stick Con is a fundraising event dedicated to raising money for children’s hospitals. For the first few years, our primary charity was Child’s Play, which raises money to provide toys and games to children in hospitals around the world. In 2016 we were excited to begin supporting Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network fundraising program.
In addition to the $50 donation included in the price of each ticket, Ravenwood Castle also donates 50% of all room rentals for the weekend. Of course 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction also go to Children’s Miracle Network.
We set ourselves an aggressive fundraising goal each year. With your help, we have met our goal every time, and over the years have raised over $120,000 for children’s hospitals!
