COVID-19 Precautions

Dear Ravenwood Castle Guests,

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, our primary concern is and has been the health and safety of both our staff and guests. As such, we have implemented several changes to our normal operating procedures. While these procedures have changed and evolved throughout the pandemic in response to updated guidance and best practices, our current COVID-19 operating precautions include:

Food Service
We have resumed all dining operations throughout the Ravenwood Castle property, both indoor and out – with a few modifications for safety and social distancing.

Breakfast – We are serving our famous breakfast buffet – with the added convenience of a staff member manning the buffet station and serving you. While effective June 2nd, 2021 the capacity of our Great Hall has been returned to pre-pandemic levels, in order to allow greater distance between dining parties we have split our regular breakfast time into two seatings. Please feel free to sign-up for your preferred seating time the night before. But never fear, you don’t have to make any final decisions regarding breakfast time, you are always welcome to come and get your meal to-go, any time during our traditional breakfast hours of 8:30-10:00 AM.

Raven’s Roost Pub – The Raven’s Roost Pub, veranda, and patio are all open for drinks and Pub fare, and as of June 2nd, 2021 will be returned to pre-pandemic capacity levels. For those wishing to enjoy the pub’s fare in a more social distanced manner, our Pub menu is available to-go if requested.

Great Hall Dining – As with our breakfast buffet, our Great Hall dinners will continue to be served with the added convenience of a staff member manning the buffet station. While effective June 2nd, 2021 the capacity of our Great Hall has been returned to pre-pandemic levels, in order to allow greater distance between dining parties we have split our regular dinner time into two seatings.

Masks and Social Distancing

In accordance with guidance from the CDC, the Ohio Department of Health and our local health department, as of June 1st, 2021 fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear masks while on site at Ravenwood Castle. Fully vaccinated staff will also no longer be required to wear masks while on duty.

Please note that while vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear masks, they are more than welcome to do so. Similarly, while the overwhelming majority of our staff are fully vaccinated, they too have been encouraged to continue wearing masks if they so wish.

Cleanliness, Sanitization and Hygiene

As a matter of routine, Ravenwood Castle takes the cleanliness of our accommodations, common areas and property as a whole very seriously. As such we already follow strict guidelines and procedures to ensure that cleanliness. Out of an abundance of caution, we have implemented an even stricter cleaning regimen, as well as several additional measures to minimize risk, including the frequent cleaning and sanitization of common areas, public bathrooms and other high touch surfaces.

We take the safety of our guests and staff very seriously here at Ravenwood Castle. It is our hope that these measures strike the appropriate balance between continued safety and a return to normalcy. We are excited to continue welcoming our guests to – responsibly – enjoy our property.
