Con in the Castle & SlugFest Games!

We are thrilled to announce the fourth annual Con in the Castle, July 15th to 17th, 2016!

Con in the Castle is our summer gaming convention, and includes three days of board games, role playing, and general gaming goodness, all – as you would expect – in a castle.

Our Guest of Honor this year is SlugFest Games, makers of such fine games as the Red Dragon Inn series and High Noon Saloon. Jennifer Kitzman will be joining us from SlugFest, and will be bringing along an early copy of the upcoming Battle for Greyport!

SlugFest joined us as a sponsor for Hoop & Stick this year, and completely took over the Raven’s Roost Pub, remaking it into, what else, the Red Dragon Inn! Such shenanigans are almost certainly to be topped at Con in the Castle.

Role playing activities at Con in the Castle will include Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars Age of Rebellion and Edge of Empires. We may also have a few games of One Ring, Dark Heresy and other great new systems up our sleeves.

It is no accident that Con in the Castle is set in the peak season for outdoor activities in the Hocking Hills. In addition to all of the gaming activity at the convention itself, guests who wish to get out and see some nature can take advantage of the nearby zip lines, canopy tours, hiking, canoeing and horseback riding.

Look for a more detailed event schedule in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to visit our Con in the Castle 2016 page for further information, and click the “Reservation” button in the upper right of this page to secure your tickets and a room on site!
