The Most Important Meal of the Day

This week’s blog post is written by the newest member of the Ravenwood Castle team, Maureen McCardel, our Wedding & Event Coordinator.

We grew up hearing about the utmost importance of a hearty breakfast to start your day off right. As adults, we know we need to feed our bodies to get the most out of our day.

At Ravenwood Castle, a complete breakfast is included with each room stay. We take the most important meal of the day seriously, and want to fuel you up for a day of outdoor exploring, fresh air, and even the rigors of relaxing by a campfire.

What does our breakfast menu look like? We always have an assortment of rolls and muffins, fresh fruit, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and cereal, including our homemade granola! There is also always at least one hot dish that varies daily. Sometimes it is a delicious potato and cheese casserole, sometimes a sausage pancake bake. No matter what, it is always a delightful way to say good morning.

Need a little caffeine to get going? Our coffee and tea bar is always open, even if your day starts a little late. No judgment here, you ARE on vacation after all. We offer a selection of fine quality teas and even have hot cocoa if you prefer. Help yourself any time of day at our self-serve station located across from the Castle office entrance.

If you are lucky enough to wake up in the Castle on a Sunday, you will surely want to snag one of Linda’s famous cinnamon rolls, baked from scratch!

We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible, so if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let our staff know when making your reservation so we can plan accordingly for your best breakfast options.

Come stay with us! Make a reservation today.
