Death in Small Doses – Nov 15th & 16th!

It’s hard to believe that Ravenwood Castle and the Shadow Stalkers have been collaborating on amazing murder mysteries for seven years now. We have covered a lot of ground in that time, tasking our Ravenwood Detectives with challenges in a huge variety settings. From pop culture to cult classics, our mysteries have run the gamut. But during all that time we’ve retained a soft spot in our hearts for the classic, gritty detective stories. As we enter the final stretch of Shadow Stalker mysteries we’re thrilled to pay homage not only to the classic mystery genre, but to classic Shadow Stalkers, by revisiting the very first mystery we conducted together way back in November of 2012. Please join us for an encore appearance of Death in Small Doses.

Some killers strike with blades, quick and quiet in the night. Those with less skill may prefer a firearm, brutish but effective. Still others reach for whatever may be at hand, practical and pragmatic in committing their deed. It takes a careful and controlled mind to choose poison as a weapon. Its use requires planning, preparation, and above all, patience. But in the hands of a master, toxins provide a myriad of benefits over cruder implements. Poisons can be applied in a variety of ways, providing flexibility to the assassin. If desired they may be rendered odorless and tasteless, so as to give the victim little to no warning. And if sufficient care is taken the toxin may be nearly undetectable, making it difficult to determine if a crime has been committed at all, let alone who the perpetrator may be…

…which is really too bad for you, since it’s your job not only to prove that the body hunched over the breakfast table was murdered, but to figure out by whom. You’ve a castle full of suspects and a few trusted fellow detectives you think you can rely on. What could possibly go wrong?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to join us November 15th & 16th for Death in Small Doses. Tickets for Death in Small Doses are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner (absolutely guaranteed not to be poisoned… we think). As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on the first night. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more upcoming announcements for the 2019-2020 murder mystery season!

If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
