Death’s Deadly Grasp – Sept 5th & 6th!

It’s been a little less than a month since we wrapped the final murder mystery of the 2024-2025 season. Our detectives may be on break, but they never stay idle for long. While they’re enjoying their well-earned rest, the team here at Ravenwood has been putting our twisted minds to work coming up with a great lineup of events for the 2025-2026 Murder Mystery season. As always, this season will see cases featuring some of our new favorite themes, the return of an old favorite or two, and the introduction of a few new themes as well!

This week I am thrilled to announce the first mystery in the upcoming 2025-2026 Murder Mystery season. Join Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan as they lead the Ravenwood Detective Agency in a classically themed mystery, Death’s Deadly Grasp…

The guests arrived at Ravenwood Castle amidst darkening skies. Each had been summoned by the enigmatic and reclusive Lord Ravenwood, with the promise of a mysterious inheritance reading. Each had a secret. Each had something to gain.

The storm crashed down upon the castle at midnight. Shortly thereafter Lord Ravenwood’s body was discovered laying twisted at the base of the grand staircase, one hand reaching skyward – frozen in terror, as if grasping for someone… or something.

The doors were locked. The phones were dead. And the storm showed no sign of passing.

As the guests turned suspicious eyes on one another, secrets clawed their way to the surface. Whispers echoed through the stone halls. Footsteps creaked where no one stood. And in the flickering candlelight, some swore they saw it – a pale, grasping hand, slipping just out of sight.

The killer is among them. And death has an unshakable grip.

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike to join us September 5th & 6th for Death’s Deadly Grasp!

Tickets for Death’s Deadly Grasp are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Anatomy of a Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
