Death Across the Drawbridge – March 10th & 11th!
It was an ordinary weekend at Ravenwood Castle. The guests had all checked in, and everyone enjoyed an elegant dinner in the Great Hall followed up with socializing in the Raven’s Roost Pub. The castle doors were sealed for the night as guests and staff alike settled in for a relaxing weekend.
All of that came to a screeching halt the next morning, as the castle was awoken by a shriek. Rushing to the source of the commotion, guests came upon the castle’s cook, who in the process of preparing the Great Hall for the morning had discovered a grisly scene. Sitting in one of the chairs at the head table with a knife in his back was a dead body, sprawled face down upon the table.
As the guests gathered and the whispers began, the group came to a realization – none of them recognized the deceased. A quick check of the guest register confirmed that all guests were present and accounted for, as were all castle staff. Yet the fact remained, there was a corpse at the breakfast table.
If neither a guest nor a member of the staff, then just who was the mystery occupant of the head table? If nobody recognized the gentleman, then who had killed him? Just what exactly had happened between the closing of the Pub the night before and the opening of the Great Hall for breakfast?
The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us March 10th & 11th for Death Across the Drawbridge!
