Dying for a Bite – Nov 7th & 8th!

The storm broke just after midnight, shrouding Ravenwood Castle in a curtain of rain and wind that rattled its ancient windows. Nestled deep within the woods, the castle had long stood in silence, its shadowed towers and dimly lit halls untouched by time. That all changed when the castle’s enigmatic owner invited a handful of old acquaintances for a weekend retreat, promising warmth, wine, and the rekindling of forgotten friendships.

At dawn, the host was dead.

He was found slumped in a library chair, pale and motionless, with no signs of struggle. His passing seemed tragically mundane – heart failure, suggested the doctor from the nearby village. Declaring age and stress as the cause of death after a cursory investigation, the doctor quickly departed.

It might have ended there, were it not for a few troubling questions. Why was the doctor in such a hurry to leave, and why did he look so nervous? Was the rumor true that the heavy oak library door had been found bolted from the inside? And perhaps most chilling of all: were the two almost imperceptible puncture wounds at the base of the deceased’s neck – dismissed by the doctor as insect bites – perhaps too precisely placed to be natural?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, veterans and novice alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us November 7th & 8th for Dying for a Bite!

Tickets for Dying for a Bite are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
