Room Spotlight – The Clock Tower

This week’s blog post – written by our Assistant Innkeeper, Abby Kutscher – shines the Room Spotlight on one of our favorite Cottages, the Clock Tower.

From floor to ceiling, the Clock Tower is filled with beautiful handcrafted woodwork, making it a favorite among guests and staff alike. This two story cottage boasts a sizable second story bedroom with a king size bed. It also features a second story balcony overlooking the forest.

The spacious lower level contains a kitchenette, which comes equipped with both a mini-fridge and a microwave. In the first floor bathroom you will find a double corner whirlpool bathtub and shower. The cozy sitting room features a gas fireplace and a TV/DvD player for use with our library of movies.

The centerpiece of the first floor are the two beautiful stained glass windows which flank the futon. Doubling as a full size bed, the futon makes the Clock Tower a great choice for families of up to 4 people.

If the woodwork and the stained glass weren’t enough for you, the Clock Tower also offers one of the best nature watching spots of any of the Cottages. Both the first floor deck and second story balcony are perfect spots for bird-watching or star-gazing. The first floor deck also has a table suitable for outdoor picnics and board games!

So the next time you vacation at Ravenwood Castle, why not spend some time in the Clock Tower? We’re confident that even with its two large clocks, you’ll still find yourself losing track of time in this beautiful cottage!
