The Scarlet Raven’s Castle Caper – Nov 9th & 10th!

We’ve launched a lot of new murder mystery themes over the last few years. From vampires to dinosaurs, and aliens to bigfoot, the Ravenwood Detective Agency has covered a lot of new ground. Perhaps one of my favorite new themes is our exploration of the comic books, complete with caped heroes and dastardly villains. Our favorite new villain returns this year in the latest in our Super Hero themed mystery adventures!

It’s been a busy year for our friendly super heroes. The emergence of a new super villain is never a good thing, but when that villain appears in the midst of the super heroes own New Year’s Eve party? Not a good start to the year! Things got worse when that same villain returned to crash the annual super hero meeting. It’s as if the Scarlet Raven has skipped the usual plans of world domination in favor of specifically targeting the super heroes themselves!

Such an unusual threat requires unusual tactics, so the heroes have decided to reconvene their previously interrupted strategy meeting. You’d think they would pick a new secret location, but heroes are nothing if not predictable, so they once again set off to Ravenwood Castle.

As the heroes crest the hill and the castle comes into sight, they are blinded by a sudden flash of light. When their sight returns, to their surprise the castle is gone! In its place is an empty field. Empty save for the slightly scorched remains of the castle caretaker and a charred note in now all-too-familiar handwriting:

I’ve taken your hangout, I’ve stolen your castle,
I’m sure it’s distressing, I’ve caused quite the hassle.
With no place to gather, with nowhere to meet,
just accept the inevitable and admit your defeat!

– The Scarlet Raven

Is Ravenwood Castle really gone? Has the Scarlet Raven finally beaten our intrepid heroes? Perhaps more importantly, is it possible his poetry is getting worse?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, detectives and heroes alike to answer these questions and more. Tune in November 9th & 10th, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel, for the finale to our trilogy of Super Hero themed Murder Mystery weekends!

Tickets for The Scarlet Raven’s Castle Caper are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2018-2019 mystery season!

If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
