Room Spotlight – King Arthur

This week on Quoth the Raven we are highlighting our largest castle suite, named for the one and only King Arthur himself. At two-stories, King Arthur encompasses an entire tower of the Castle and is only steps away from the Great Hall – you’ll be sure to smell those Sunday morning cinnamon rolls!

Upon entering, you will find that the first floor offers a spacious sitting area next to a sleeper sofa, a fireplace, and a marble chess set. Being so close to the Great Hall means that you are in close proximity to our board game library of over 100 games! Grab a few and bring them back to make sure that your game night is fit for a king. The first floor is also home to the bathroom that contains a two-person whirlpool bathtub.

Once upstairs, you will see a custom-made king size bed and a second sofa. One of the walls is adorned with a hand-painted mural that depicts various scenes out of the King Arthur legend. The door will lead to a balcony that overlooks the hedge maze and gives you a fantastic view of the Castle grounds. The King Arthur suite can sleep up to four guests.

Whether you’re looking for a midweek break from reality or a weekend-long escape, Ravenwood Castle’s King Arthur Suite will be sure to impress. Come stay with us this year and enjoy our complimentary on-site scavenger hunts, board game library, and hiking trails!
