Room Spotlight: Queen Elizabeth

When you hear the name Queen Elizabeth there are a few individuals that may come to mind. The suite at Ravenwood Castle dubbed Queen Elizabeth however is most specifically in homage to Elizabeth II. This week on Quoth the Raven we are spotlighting this second-story accommodation that leaves every guest feeling like royalty.

Cross over the drawbridge and head into the main Castle doors after parking and you will find yourself in the middle of two staircases. Turn right and head upstairs and get ready to settle in. Upon entering you will see the emerald walls adorned with art that highlights some of the Queen’s lifelong interests. One of those pieces shows a violin which pays respect to the Queen’s patronage for classical music and enjoyment of live performances.

Like all of our accommodations at Ravenwood, you will find unique décor sprinkled throughout the room. Two tall windows let the light peek in throughout different times of the day. The private balcony allows for guests to enjoy the tranquility of nature throughout the duration of their stay, whether it be for morning coffee or late-night stargazing.

Cozy up on one of the two oversized armchairs in front of the fireplace and relax. Borrow a book or game from our collection and enjoy some time to yourself or reconnect with a loved one. Ravenwood prides itself on being an unplugged location where guests can enjoy facetime with one another without distraction.

The queen size bed is situated next to one of the most unique nightstands you will probably ever see. Quite the novel design in our opinion!
