Sherlock Holmes and the Castle Killings – Nov 11th & 12th!

Event season is rapidly approaching here at Ravenwood Castle, we hope you’re as excited as we are! In this week’s blog I am thrilled to announce the third episode in our 2022-2023 Murder Mystery season! This mystery will once again be helmed by Michelle and Ryan from Moonlight Murders, who will be taking on the role of Chief Detectives in the Ravenwood Detective Agency. This time around, our agents may have a little help from one of the most famous detectives of all time…

Being the world’s greatest detective can be a trying thing. Finding a challenging case can be difficult in the best of times, and has been nearly impossible with the unusual quiet of the last two years. With little to keep his mind sharp and his interest piqued, Sherlock Holmes has found himself in a bit of a slump. Desperate to get back into the game, Sherlock departs 221B Baker Street for the headquarters of his friends at the Ravenwood Detective Agency, in the hopes that surrounding himself with other detectives and their cases might provide some much needed inspiration.

As he reviewed several of the Agency’s open cases, a disturbing trend began to emerge. In each case he found something oddly… familiar, some trivial fact or circumstance which by itself seemed to have little bearing on the case, but when taken together reminded Sherlock of an old nemesis – Moriarty. Hesitant to believe that the arch villain could have returned, Sherlock hastened to discuss the matter with a member of the Ravenwood Detective Agency who had previously assisted him in a case involving Professor Moriarty. Somehow, he was not surprised to find the senior detective dead in his room, clearly a victim of foul play.

If there had been any doubt left in Sherlock’s mind, this grisly murder confirmed his suspicion. Moriarty was back. Moreover, he was in the castle itself – perhaps even disguised as one of the other detectives!

Could it be true, could Moriarty have returned? Has the Ravenwood Detective Agency itself been infiltrated by the arch villain?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us November 11th & 12th for Sherlock Holmes and the Castle Killings!

Tickets for Sherlock Holmes and the Castle Killings are $100 and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
