Just a few weeks ago we completed our summer gaming convention, Con in the Castle. We immediately got to work planning our next convention, the upcoming Hoop & Stick Con 2023!

Hoop & Stick Con 2023 will be held Thursday February 23^th through Sunday February 26th, 2023. As I say every year, Hoop & Stick Con is four days of gaming goodness, in a castle, for charity – it really doesn’t get any better!

The crew from the Ohio Pathfinder Society, led by long time Hoop & Sticker Mike, will be with us to run sessions of Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Our guest Game Masters the McGurr brothers (formerly of The Malted Meeple) will be returning as well, and will be running sessions of Dungeons and Dragons and a variety of other systems.

But Hoop & Stick Con is about more than just role playing games. There will be plenty of board gaming as well. The castle’s board game library will be available for play and the Great Hall will be largely dedicated to open board gaming.

At Hoop & Stick Con 2022, we raised over $16,000 for Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This brought our ten year total to nearly $100,000! We intend to set our sights high again this year, and to hopefully continue our streak of ever increasing fundraising milestones. To succeed we are going to need your help. Hoop & Stick Con is perhaps our most popular event ever year. And every year the available rooms for the convention fill up extremely quickly. As a reward for long time attendees we offer our Hoop & Stick and Con in the Castle convention alumni a brief preregistration window. As has become tradition at this point, rooms sold out completely within less than two hours from the start of preregistration! As a result we currently have no rooms available for booking.
