The Return of Captain Ravenbeard – Feb 3rd & 4th!

In our last murder mystery season, before global events sent the Ravenwood Detectives into temporary hiatus, we launched a brand new mystery theme – pirates! Our swashbuckling adventurers set themselves against the infamous Captain Ravenbeard, in search of his long lost treasure. This week I am excited to announce the next mystery in the 2022-2023 season, in which Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan revisit this theme, and lead our agents in the third installment of our pirate trilogy…

They really should have learned.

Twice now the group of treasure hunters had followed the old, worn map in search of pirate gold. Twice now, their treasure hunts, plagued by the threats of a long dead pirate, had ended in murder.

They really should have learned.

But treasure hunters, if nothing else, are a stubborn bunch. So it should come as no surprise that our intrepid adventurers once again descended upon the castle in the woods, bound and determined to finally solve the riddle of the map.

They really should have learned. Sadly, they did not. So it was that the ever dwindling group find themselves yet again standing over one of their own, lying dead in the castle pub. Their fallen comrade clutched a parrot’s feather and a torn, handwritten note, which simply read:

“Ye scallywags should have learned not to trouble me sleep. Ye’ll never find me treasure, nor shall ye ever leave this place again!”

Has the long dead Captain Ravenbeard truly returned to defend his lost treasure? Is the treasure even real, or merely a deadly rumor? Why a parrot feather?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us February 3rd & 4th for The Return of Captain Ravenbeard!

Tickets for The Return of Captain Ravenbeard are $75. Please note that in a change from our previous mystery events, dinner Saturday is no longer required for all attendees, and has been removed from the package price. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2022-2023 event season!
