Revenge of von Ravenwood – March 3rd & 4th!

We really enjoy our events here at Ravenwood Castle. Their primary purpose is of course to provide our guests with a great experience, but we as a team enjoy planning and delivering the events as well. This 2022-2023 season has been particularly gratifying, as we revisit events that had to be put on hold the last few years. This week I’m excited to announce our return to one of my favorite murder mystery settings, as Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan guide our agents in the third installment of our vampire themed trilogy…

Ravenwood Castle has a secret. Behind the façade of a quiet country inn lurks a terrible truth. The literature claims that Ravenwood was built in the 1990s as an upscale vacation destination. What the brochures leave out is that the inn was built on the ruins of a much older castle, rumored to have been constructed by the long lost Count von Ravenwood, a minor Eastern European noble who disappeared in the mid seventeenth century.

Five years ago a collection of vampire hunters descended on Ravenwood Castle in search of the mysterious – and thought to be long dead – Count. It was a difficult hunt, but at its end the hunters had emerged victorious. The Count was sent to his final rest, and with his death the Curse of von Ravenwood was lifted. Or so they’d thought. But an unusual number of the hunters involved in the von Ravenwood affair met their untimely demise in the year that followed the hunt. Someone – or something – was hunting the hunters. The surviving members of the group returned to Ravenwood Castle to seek answers in what had become known as the von Ravenwood Murders. Again, the hunters solved the case, and hoped that the ordeal was behind them.

That hope seems to have been in vain. For over the last few months there have been numerous sightings. Sightings of hunters and agents known to have fallen during the previous two hunts at Ravenwood Castle. These encounters were typically brief, the sightings at a distance, and always at night. But there could be little doubt, hunters known to have been killed were somehow up and walking around.

The vampire hunters knew they had no choice, they had to – once again – return to Ravenwood Castle to seek answers and ensure the rest of their fallen comrades.

Has the legendary Count von Ravenwood somehow managed to survive yet again? Has some other evil been raising the fallen hunters? Or is there a more mundane explanation for the mysterious sightings?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us March 3rd & 4th for The Revenge of von Ravenwood!

Tickets for the Revenge of von Ravenwood are $75. Please note that in a change from our previous mystery events, dinner Saturday is no longer required for all attendees, and has been removed from the package price. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
