Case of the Deadly Dice – Sept 8th & 9th!
It may seem like we just wrapped up the last murder mystery season, but believe it or not the 2023-2024 season is just around the corner! This week I am thrilled to announce the first mystery of the upcoming season, which also happens to be the debut of a brand new theme. Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan will be leading our detectives in a mystery inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and other classic tabletop roleplaying games. Please join the Ravenwood Detective Agency as we tackle the Case of the Deadly Dice…
The flickering candles cast eerie shadows on the stone walls of the castle’s dungeon as the group of adventurers gathered around the table for another game of Dungeons and Dragons. Little did they know the game was about to take a dark and unexpected turn. As they rolled the dice and delved deeper into the game, the players suddenly heard a blood-curdling scream echoing through the halls of the castle.
Rushing to investigate, they found one of the castle’s inhabitants lying lifeless on the floor. It was clear that a murder had been committed, and the group of adventurers had found themselves in the midst of a real-life mystery!
With no idea who the killer might be, the players must work together to solve the murder and uncover the truth before the killer strikes again. The gaming session which had started as a fun pastime has turned into a deadly game of survival. Will they be able to unravel the mystery before it’s too late?
The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike. Join us September 8th & 9th to investigate the Case of the Deadly Dice!
Tickets for the Case of the Deadly Dice are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2023-2024 event season!
SPECIAL NOTE: Please be aware that while the theme of this mystery involves a game of Dungeons and Dragons gone wrong, the event itself is a murder mystery weekend with all of the usual activities, and is not in fact a game of Dungeons & Dragons. If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Anatomy of a Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
