Situated in the valley at the base of the Castle hill is the Huntsman’s Hollow. This rustic woodsmen’s village sits alongside a scenic creek, and features a central fire pit, making it a great spot to gather with family and friends!
Each of the cabins features a private bedroom with queen bed, a separate bathroom with shower, a common room with kitchenette, a futon-for-two and an enclosed porch which overlooks the Hollow and the fire pit.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy the unfurnished sleeping loft which runs the entire width of the cabins. The loft is a great place to hang out with a book or board game, and makes a great bedroom for adventurous young ones as well – just be sure to bring along sleeping bags!
As with all of our rooms, the Huntsman’s Hollow cabins enjoy use of the entire Ravenwood Castle property, and each reservation includes breakfast in the Great Hall. For the adventurous guests, a walking trail connects the Hollow to the main castle property. This is great for those who enjoy a short hike when heading up for breakfast or to visit the Raven’s Roost Pub or game library. There is plenty of parking both at the Hollow and the castle itself for those who prefer the short drive up the driveway.
