Looking for a unique way to spend the evening while staying at a castle in the woods? Why not grab a pint at Raven’s Roost Pub and take advantage of our extensive board game collection!

We are proud of the board game library we offer at Ravenwood Castle, with over 170 hobby board games for you to play during your stay.  You are of course welcome to bring your own games with you, or save some room in your suitcase and enjoy our extensive library.

You will find classic nostalgic games such as Clue and Monopoly, alongside modern classics like Catan and Ticket to Ride. We have dice games, card games, cooperative games, strategy games, and many more. We even have a giant wooden Crokinole board in the Pub to test your dexterity!

We love games so much, we even host two gaming conventions at the Castle each year. Every winter we raise funds for Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network with Hoop & Stick Con, our annual charity convention where we run RPG campaigns, host a charity auction, and revel in congenial geekiness with other caring gamers. In the summer, we run Con in the Castle, a weekend of table-top and role-playing games and making new friends!

One last nod to our love of games is found outside the main Castle building on the side lawn – an outdoor chessboard with giant game pieces!
