Hoop & Stick Con PreGame at The Malted Meeple

It’s February, which means it’s time for our annual charity gaming convention, Hoop & Stick Con! Every year at Hoop & Stick Con we raise money for Extra Life and Akron Children’s Hospital. This year’s event will be held February 21-24 and is already completely sold out – but that doesn’t mean you can’t get in on the fun!

This year we are excited to offer the opportunity to PreGame at our sister business, The Malted Meeple! The entire week of Hoop & Stick Con (Monday February 18 to Saturday February 23), the Meeple will be supporting our fundraising efforts in a variety of cool ways. Stop in to the Malted Meeple in Hudson, OH and get in on the fun!

Some of the great ways you can help The Malted Meeple help us include:

  • Purchase a #ForTheKids milkshake and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Extra Life and Akron Children’s Hospital. The #ForTheKids shake is only available at select times throughout the year, so get it while you can! Doing good never tasted so good.
  • Check out their Charity Game Sale. The Meeple has been curating their Game Library and cleaning out their game store room, which means they have games to spare! Proceeds from any games purchased off the sale table near the host stand in the lobby will be donated as well!
  • Adventure for a Cause! The Malted Meeple has recently launched two amazing Escape Rooms! During the week of February 18-23, $5 of each Escape Room ticket purchased will be donated to Extra Life!

If you can’t make it in to the café but still want to help, you can donate directly to Extra Life and Akron Children’s Hospital through the Hoop & Stick Con online fundraising portal found at hoopandstick.org

Help us help the kids and have fun doing it!
