Con in the Castle 2018!

We’re thrilled to announce the sixth annual Con in the Castle, July 13th to 15th, 2018!

Con in the Castle is our summer gaming convention, and includes three days of board games, role playing sessions, and general gaming goodness, all – as one might expect – in a castle.

This year’s Con in the Castle features the triumphant return of Greater Than Games and Christopher Badell as our Guest of Honor! Christopher first joined us here at Ravenwood Castle as the Guest of Honor for Con in the Castle 2015. We had such a great time that we’ve been looking for an opportunity to bring him back ever since!

Christopher has designed such games as Galactic Strike, Sentinels Tactics, and Deck Building the Deck Building Game, but is perhaps best known as the creator of the massively popular Sentinels of the Multiverse. He will be demoing the entire Sentinels lineup, including the newly released final expansion: OblivAeon! Chris is sure to be sharing some new games he’s working on with guests as well, including the upcoming Sentinel Comics: the Roleplaying Game!

Other role playing activities at Con in the Castle will include scheduled sessions of Pathfinder, Starfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, and possibly some new systems. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Ravenwood gaming convention if we didn’t end up with a few impromptu late night rounds of Fiasco!

It’s no accident that as our summer convention Con in the Castle is set in the peak season for outdoor activities in the Hocking Hills. In addition to all of the gaming activity at the convention itself, guests who wish to get out and see some nature can take advantage of the nearby zip lines, canopy tours, hiking, canoeing and horseback riding.

Stay tuned to the Con in the Castle 2018 page for event schedule updates in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to click the “Reservation” button in the upper right of this page to book your room, they’re sure to go fast!
