Room Spotlight – Spinster’s Cottage

As part of our Medieval Village of cottages surrounding the Castle, the Spinster’s cottage is the first accommodation you will encounter when wandering down the village path past Cinderella’s Coach House. Inspired by the lovely little dwellings inhabited by sweet elderly ladies across a picturesque landscape, Spinster’s cottage is the epitome of an English cottage.

Its cheeriness greets you as you enter into a first floor sitting room with fireplace, cozy chairs, a futon for additional guests, and a small kitchenette. The warmth of the gathering space puts us in the mood for a chat and a cup of tea with a loved one.

Boasting a comfy queen bed upstairs, Spinster’s cottage is the perfect accommodation for a lazy afternoon reading in bed, free from distractions and the noise of life. The large bath features a double whirlpool tub and shower for a relaxing soak after a day of hiking and exploring.

On your next visit to Ravenwood Castle be sure to check out the Spinster’s Cottage, and watch the sun set or rise from the porch with views of the rest of the village and the Castle in this quaint English cottage accommodation.
