Room Spotlight – Duke’s Dungeon

Dark and scary are two buzzwords that come to mind when you think of the word “dungeon”. However, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that our onsite Dungeon is one of our most popular rooms we have here at Ravenwood Castle! Located on the lowest level of the Castle, the Duke’s Dungeon is only a hop, skip, and a jump away from our Raven’s Roost Pub and Library Game Room.

Unlike most dungeons, this one has a door that opens up outside onto the Pub Patio and the nearby hedge maze. You can enjoy a peaceful evening sipping on a glass of craft beer and stargazing or stay inside playing board games from our board game library with a window open. This dungeon was built for comfort!

Dukes Dungeon

Decorated with faux-stone walls and ceiling, the Duke’s Dungeon is aesthetically pleasing to all Castle-lovers. When we say that it is also home to one of the most unique king-size beds you will ever come across – we mean it! The headboard and baseboard are working stockades.  How’s that for unique?

At the foot of the bed is a cozy gas fireplace that is perfect to enjoy after a long day of whatever pleasantries you may have enjoyed at the Castle or offsite at another Hocking Hills activity.  The room has a standard shower/tub combo and an occupancy of two.

The worries of the world will be sure to stay outside the Castle walls. Escape to the Duke’s Dungeon today!
