As we celebrate Ravenwood Castle’s 30th anniversary this year, we’re thrilled to introduce two brand-new events designed to bring even more magic into midweek stays. On select dates throughout the summer, we’ll be hosting Taste of Tuesdays and Thirsty Thursdays. These experiences are available as add-ons for overnight guests.

Our second Thirsty Thursday is featuring one of our favorite meaderies who also happen to be the Pub Sponsor for Hoop & Stick Con 2026: McAlpine Meadery! Recently under new ownership, McAlpine Meadery is located in Beach City, Ohio and is available at a variety of stores across the state.

We’ll be joined by owner Jess Kidd who will lead guests through the mead tasting in the Pub. Guests will receive taster pours of Blood of my Enemies, Pear, Blackberry, and Raw mead! With each flight, guests will receive a charcuterie plate to complement all the flavors of McAlpine will be sharing!
