Con in the Castle & Greater Than Games!

Announcing the third annual Con in the Castle, July 17th to 19th, 2015!

Con in the Castle is our summer gaming convention, and includes three days of board games, role playing sessions, and general gaming goodness, all – as the name suggests – in a castle.

Our Guest of Honor this year is none other than Christopher Badell of Greater Than Games. Christopher has designed such games as Galactic Strike and Sentinels Tactics, but is perhaps best known as the creator of the massively popular Sentinels of the Multiverse. He will be demoing Sentinels, playing it and other games with Con guests, and is likely to be bringing along some other great games he’s working on!

Role playing activities at Con in the Castle will include scheduled sessions of Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars Age of Rebellion and Star Wars Edge of Empires. We may also have a few games of Fate and other systems up our sleeves. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Ravenwood gaming convention if we didn’t end up with a few impromptu late night rounds of Fiasco!

It’s also no accident that Con in the Castle is set in the peak season for outdoor activities in the Hocking Hills. In addition to all of the gaming activity at the convention itself, guests who wish to get out and see some nature can take advantage of the nearby zip lines, canopy tours, hiking, canoeing and horseback riding.

Look for a more detailed event schedule in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to visit our Con in the Castle 2015 page for further information, and click the “Reservation” button in the upper right of this page to secure your tickets and a room on site!
