Beer Tasting Weekend – June 3rd & 4th!

We are thrilled to announce the first of this year’s popular Beer Tasting Weekends! For any who haven’t had the pleasure of joining us for one of these events, our Beer Tasting Weekends aren’t your normal beer tasting dinner – these tastings last all weekend long. Two days full of good food, great beer and awesome breweries! This event will be June 3rd & 4th, 2022, and is headlined by two of my all time personal favorite breweries: Bells Brewery and Founders Brewing, both hailing from Michigan.

Friday’s dinner features Bells Brewery. Bill King from Bells will be joining us to discuss the brewery and share some of their amazing brews. Friday’s tasting will start with No, Yeah! a golden ale, and dinner will include Wood Fired Flat Breads w/Garlic, Olive Oil, Mozzarella & Provolone paired with Oberon a wheat ale; a Cucumber & Tomato Salad with Red Onion Tossed in a Red Wine Vinaigrette paired with Lager of the Lakes; Maple Glazed Smoked Turkey, Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes and Vegetable Medley paired with Porter; and Apple Crisp paired with Amber Ale.

Saturday’s dinner features Founders Brewing. Gabe Polzin will be joining us from Founders to share a bit about the brewery and discuss their offerings. Saturday’s tasting will start with All Day Vacay, a session American wheat beer, and dinner’s menu will include Spinach & Artichoke Dip with Wood Fired Flat Breads paired with 4 Giants and the Haze of Destiny, an Imperial Hazy IPA; a Chopped Salad of Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Peppers and Romain Lettuce with Balsamic Dressing paired with Porter; Penne w/Smoked Chicken, Spring Veggies & Alfredo Sauce, Green Beans in Brown Butter paired with Centennial IPA; and Berry Cobbler paired with Highball Drifter, a barrel aged Brown with vanilla, cherry and orange peel.

As has become a tradition during our beer tasting weekends, there will be an informal tasting lineup Saturday at noon, which will feature some of our favorite offerings from the Raven’s Roost Pub.

Please join us June 3rd & 4th for a weekend of great craft brews! Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner Friday and Saturday nights, and samplings of at least a dozen beers throughout the weekend. Click the “Reservation” button at the top of this page or call (740) 596-2606 to book your room now!

Please note that the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
