Homicide in Herbology – Jan 27th & 28th!

The Ravenwood Castle 2022-2023 Event Season is in full swing, and given how quickly these dates have filled up, you are as excited as we are to return to a full event lineup. But if you haven’t made it to an event yet don’t worry, there are plenty of dates still to be announced! In fact, this week I’m excited to announce the fifth murder mystery of the season! For this session, our agents will be joining Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan from Moonlight Murders as they return to the ever popular Ravenwood School of Myth and Magic…

Unusual happenings tend to be daily occurrences at magical universities. When your students can fly, transform themselves (and others!) and turn invisible, the unusual is just to be expected. So when the Ravenwood School of Myth and Magic’s Professor of Herbology went missing in the first week of winter semester, nobody was too concerned. Students and professors had disappeared before, and they (nearly) always showed up at some point.

A substitute professor took over the Herbology class, and the semester continued as normal. Then one afternoon, things went from unusual to deadly. While harvesting a crop of sneezewort the students made a grisly discovery – a human skull, right there in the classroom, buried beneath the carefully cultivated sneezewort.

How had a body part come to be planted in the Herbology classroom? Was the discovery related to the missing professor? Or worse, was the professor missing no more?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us January 27th & 28th for Homicide in Herbology!

Tickets for Homicide in Herbology are $75. Please note that in a change from our previous mystery events, dinner Saturday is no longer required for all attendees, and has been removed from the package price. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2022-2023 event season!

If you haven’t been to one of our mystery weekends and are wondering what they are all about, check out our Anatomy of  a Murder Mystery page for all of the details. And stay tuned here at Quoth the Raven to hear about the rest of the great mysteries we have planned for this season!
