Mead Tasting Weekend – June 5th & 6th!
We are thrilled to announce the next installment in our series of popular Tasting Weekends. Our next event is June 5th & 6th, 2026, and spotlights McAlpine Meadery throughout the entire weekend! For those of you who are unfamiliar with these events, they aren’t your normal tasting dinners. These tastings last all weekend long! The Mead Wizard of McAlpine Meadery, Jeremiah Geisinger, will lead guests through their mead pairings with each course.
Each course will be paired with a mead from McAlpine’s lineup with flavors like Blackberry, Blood of my Enemies, Strawberry, and Elderberry. As always, we will also be offering a great lineup of beer, wine, and spirits in the Pub all weekend, including build-your-own McAlpine flights!
Friday’s dinner will begin with a welcome pour of McAlpine Mead; followed by roasted jalapeño poppers, a spinach, cranberry and almond salad with raspberry mead vinaigrette, creamy garlic herb chicken with roasted green beans with caramelized onions and parmesan rosemary mashed potatoes, and lemon fairy cakes.
Saturday’s dinner will begin with stuffed mushrooms, followed by a toasted pine nut parmesan arugula salad with honey mustard vinaigrette, Viking pork loin with berry glaze served with German potato salad and sautéed sauerkraut salad, and blueberry cobbler. The evening will conclude with a closing pour of McAlpine Mead.
